TAEKWANG JEONGSAN GOLF CLUB

On its island in the Saigon River is where you can find Taekwang Jeongsan Country Club. Golfers must leave the city on Vietnam’s main north-south route and take a ferry across the Saigon River in order to get to the Ho Chi Minh City golf course. The golf course is around ninety minutes’ drive from Ho Chi Minh City’s central hotel districts. Taking a private speedboat taxi up to the river is a quicker option. The harbor next to the Saigon Zoo is where a lot of boat taxis depart.

Golfplan – Dale & Ramsey Golf Course Architects from the USA designed the 18-hole course, which is owned by Korea. High-end resort courses typically have an out-and-back layout. The course has 7395 yards of tips, but for a more leisurely round of golf, there are forward tees available.

This normally level terrain has heavy bunkering on most of its holes, which makes the course more interesting and enjoyable overall and presents difficulties even for expert players. Fairways, greens, and tees are all completely grassed with Paspalum, guaranteeing comfortable conditions and ideal ball positions.

Off to the side of the Jeongsan course, residential and commercial complexes are anchored by the spacious clubhouse. The clubhouse has two restaurants that serve Korean and local cuisine, a well-stocked pro shop, and attractive locker rooms with spa services for golfers.
