Hoiana Shores Golf Club is Vietnam’s golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones II Golf Course Architects (RTJ II). Situated along the Vietnamese coastline, the course is located 45 minutes south of Danang International Airport and 8 kilometers south of the Hoi An Ancient Town UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Hoiana Shores features a unique link design that takes players through dunes. The town itself is famous for its lanterns, and in keeping with this theme, lanterns are used instead of flags to mark the pins at Hoiana. The techniques used in constructing the course ensured that the natural dune and pine landscape was preserved. This allowed for the creation of holes that weave through the Casuarina trees and native brush in the area.
Nick Faldo brings his wealth of playing experience to the Laguna Lang Co golf course, which is his second design in Vietnam. The site’s natural rugged character has been integrated into the course by maintaining the land’s natural terrain and enhancing the site’s bold and visually strong features. In keeping with its links-like characteristics, the Lang Co layout also offers a traditional out-and-back routing, presenting a host of varied shot opportunities along the way.
