Faldo and his team skillfully incorporated the natural landscape of Thanh Lanh Lake and the surrounding valleys of the Tam Dao mountains. The course offers distinct sections, including water-surrounded, hillside, parkland, and a short stretch of Links-style golf. The most breathtaking holes can be found on a peninsula overlooking Thanh Lanh Lake. The front and back nines both showcase the beauty of the site, with the finishing holes running along the shoreline of the lake towards the clubhouse, providing a magnificent backdrop of the mountains.
Developed by Sun Group and designed by IMG,Sapa Grand gc an esteemed international golf course design company, it stands as the province’s first publicly accessible course. This makes it a suitable choice for both local Vietnamese golfers and international visitors. The hilly terrain presented a challenge in accommodating all 18 holes within the limited space available. As a result, some holes are positioned in valleys while others traverse along ridges, offering breathtaking views of the picturesque countryside. The course incorporates significant changes in elevation, enhancing the overall golfing experience. A notable feature of Sapa Grand Golf Course is the presence of lakes, streams, and waterfalls that gracefully wind through the site, intersecting six holes starting from the twelfth and concluding on the seventeenth.
