KOTA PERMAI GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB – MALAYSIA

Located in the Kota Kemuning municipality, Kota Permai Golf & Country Club has garnered praise from Malaysian golfers ever since it opened for play in 1998. One of the best golf courses in Asia is the 18-hole Kota Permai championship course, which was created by renowned international architect Ross Watson.
Kota Permai Golf & Country Club’s excellent record of professional golf championships attests to its elite reputation. The Asian Tour Volvo Masters were held at Kota Permai from 1998 to 2002 and again in 2004. The 2007 World Cup of Golf qualification tournament was held in Kota Permai. The co-sanctioned European Tour Malaysian Open was held at Kota Permai the next year, and it served as a good battleground.
Recognition follows achievement, and Kota Permai has received several accolades throughout the years, including Golf Malaysia magazine’s Most Beautiful Hole and Malaysia’s Number One Golf Course in 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, and 2006. And it didn’t end there: Kota Permai was chosen as the nation’s Best Golf Course in the 2007–2008 readers’ poll of Golf Malaysia magazine. Kota Permai won the 2008 Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards for Best Golf & Country Club of the Year.
With choices for players of all skill levels, the Kota Permai layout is fair but demanding. The mature trees and fauna that can be found all across the golf course are examples of the design’s harmony with the natural world. This 6,396-meter golf course in Kuala Lumpur has a tempting blend of doglegs and straight holes, with beautiful water elements and well placed bunkers adding shape and difficulty to the game. The beautifully manicured Japanese Zoysia fairways and undulating Bermuda grass greens at Kota Permai guarantee that playing golf there is always a pleasurable experience.
